SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN ADOPTED FROM THE FORMER USSR

Russian Church Children's Center offers a special program for families who adopted children from countries of the former Soviet Union. We work with kids and their parents to help both of them make a transition and adjust to their new status. Our goal is to help adopted children maintain their cultural and spiritual heritage.

Russian Church Children's Center instructors can help your child to restore the knowledge of Russian language even if it was forgotten over the years of being in the USA.

We provide Russian Language classes for American kids who want to learn Russian Language as well.

CLASSES FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN

For Parents:
Russian language classes; Russian culture classes, Classes on Russian Spirituality; Support of our counselors who will help you to understand your child better and overcome a cultural barrier; Translation services: Russian to English and English to Russian, Russian Library: videos and books for adults and children; Information services to help you find Russian resources in DC, VA and MD area such as Russian grocery stores, Russian bookstores, Russian cultural events for kids and adults, Russian language teachers, physicians and dentists, and much more; Russian language Worship Services.

For Children:
Russian Language; Russian Culture and Tradition Classes; Art of Russian cooking; Russian Decorative Art (Hohloma, Palech) Class; Russian Folk Dances; Theater; Music Lessons; Russian Spirituality, and more ...

RUSSIAN CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER FOR 2,5 -- 5 Y.O. KIDS

We offer a full-day program for Russian speaking kids and kids who were adopted from Russia in their native language. Our hours of operation are very convenient for working parents.

Full-time program:
    Monday -- Friday
    7:30 a.m. --6:00 p.m.

Part-time programs:
    Monday -- Friday
    9:00 a.m. --3:00 p.m.
    Monday,Wednesday,Friday:
    9:00 a.m. -- 3:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. -- 12:00 p.m.
