In 1972 she graduated pediatric department of Rostov Medical University. For 23 years she worked in the provincial Ulyanov Hospital in the department of children’s neuropathology as doctor-neuropathologist. For the following seven years she worked as the deputy head physician of the organizational and procedural work with children in provincial children's clinic of Ul'yanovsk city. She is very talented in working with children. She works in Russian Children’s Center since January 2003. At leisure time Valentina loves to read books. She is married and proud of her already grown daughter. Also, Valentina especially enjoys taking care of her two grandsons.
